Hi, I'm Carol. I'm a geologist and educator, and I created Terra Lab Explorers because I kept seeing the same problem: middle school science teachers were being asked to teach Earth science without the background, the training, or the resources to do it well.
That's not a teacher problem — it's a resource problem. And it's one I can help solve.
With a background in geology and years of experience working with educators, I know what it takes to make Earth science feel clear, connected, and teachable. My resources are built around the real challenges teachers face: limited prep time, mixed student backgrounds, tight budgets, and the pressure to meet NGSS standards.
